    Taking a hike

I've been working a lot at my regular job. 70 to 80 hours a week. I worked the entire month of November without a day off. I finally got Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I ended up working Friday and Saturday at my second job. I was really starting to feel like a rat in cage. My mental health wasn't looking real good.

It rained heavy all day Friday and Saturday. I woke up very well rested Sunday morning, the rain had stopped, and for some reason I thought Hocking Hills. Within ten minutes I was up, dressed and in the car. I got down there and the place was empty, absolutely no one. I went for a long hike and enjoyed the alone time with nature. My calves are still sore from all the climbing and walking. Sore in a good way though. I feel better in my head too.

I ended up shooting a little video of the gorge and waterfalls. I'm no cinematographer, but the waterfalls are cool. I've been going here for close to forty years on and off. My Dad used to take me, good memories.

Looks like a good spot Rooster.

I'm in the same boat as you, there are never any hours in the day and it is rare to get a full day off to go for a drive. But it is good to get away and go explore so good job.

    Oh wow Rooster.
That is some beautiful vid. I love to throw a pack on my back and grab up my 6ft qiarterstaff and hike around some of the lakes around my city. I love getting back so far I can hear no sound made by man.

Here is the rest of the video I shot that day. It's gone from 59 degrees down to 20. So I'm glad I got out when I could.
