I though marriage extended your life. Now married couples are "greedy" which means they will not let these spinster around their man.

The Single By Choice movement is described this way:

Each one of them also stated that they planned to prioritize having a family over pursuing a career. I suspect that the up and coming generation of women views these celebrations of singleness as a cautionary tale, and they’re anxious to make sure they won’t be calling themselves onelies or quirkyalones if they can help it.

This is the gist of this paragraph is that these old bitches are fucking losers that no man wants and the twenty-somethings are going to get married ASAP, because they don't want to end up as lonely old hags. WGTOW epic fail. Only men can go MGTOW and thrive.

One, I don't believe it. Sorry, just don't. Normally I cite empirical data or statistics, but I have none. All I have is the totality of personal and anecdotal experience I've accumulated over the years to realize that women, especially in their 30's and 40's, AND ESPECIALLY IF THEY DON'T HAVE KIDS, become MORE desperate. Yes they'll tell themselves 30 is the new 20. And yes, they'll cite people like "Meg Ryan" or "Jennifer Aniston" who are still "hot" in their 40's. And yes, they'll read US or People magazine and watch reruns of "Tank Girl." But in the end, I don't believe women, like men in the MGTOW movement, believe it for one second. I believe it is their rationalization hamsters merely plagiarizing the MGTOW movement.

You know... I'm biased toward MGTOW, so when I first saw this WGTOW vs. MGTOW debate, my first instinct was to account for my bias and think "but how do we know we're not just telling ourselves we're different to feel better about ourselves? How do we know we're not lying to ourselves?"

But then I read CaptainCapitalism's piece and I am now fully convinced, as he makes an excellent distinction. It is a fact that MGTOWs become such at the PEAK of their mate value. In fact, men's mating value starts growing after we start exiting our twenties and it keeps growing all the way up to our 50s.

So most MGTOWs become such while they're on the upswing. WGTOWs however become such only when their mating value starts dropping precipitously... So it is very different. For the men it's a choice, for the women it's not a choice, they have no choice.

The real question here is ... how come it is "acceptable" for a woman to fuck around, pop out a dozen thug-lets, and get on the welfare dole but it is "NOT ok" for a man to stay single, take it easy, pursue his goals, and enjoy his hobbies? Women who are "single by choice" are "independent" but men who adopt a similar line of thinking are slapped with the "immature" label? Huh? Did I miss something?

But anyhow, I LOL'ed when I skimmed thru that ... WGTOW? ROFL!!!

There's no such thing as "women going their own way" and there never will be ... women are herd creatures and they are hard-wired to seek status, attention, and approval, especially from OTHER women. And, being parasites, they compete aggressively for hosts (men) ... as a result they hate and despise one another underneath all the pleasantries and formalities. Widespread WGTOW is simply not possible due to the hypergamous nature of women, the incredible social/peer pressures placed on women along with their limited shelf-life and urge to reproduce makes it very impractical and unlikely to gain any momentum.

Also, as AlekNovy pointed out quite succinctly ... women only become "single by choice" once they have exhausted every other option, passed their expiry date, and/or failed to land a sucker ... nothing but a last ditch effort to save face. Men on the other hand are highly independent creatures, they don't really "need" anyone's approval. We are artificially programmed to be approval-seeking manginas from an early age, but as we age our experiences "undo" much of this brainwashing.

Simply put ... men just want to fuck, we don't really care about all of that "status" bullshit that women obsess over ... the "status", "power", "money", etc is just the means to an end (pussy) ... one way or another.

WOMEN are the ones who concern themselves with "what do other people think about me?" and "keeping up with the jones'es" ... they just can't help it, they are simply status whores ... and status whoring, comparing yourself to others, or seeking approval from others is a COMPLETE 180 of anything even remotely resembling the MGTOW philosophy.
