In an extremely rare occurrence, a woman pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge in Buffalo’s federal court.
Angela L. Jenkins, 35, of Lowell, Mich., admitted to a felony charge of receiving child pornography over the Internet. The U. S. Attorney’s office said Jenkins is the first female ever to plead guilty to the charge in Western New York.
Jenkins, who has five children and receives public assistance, sobbed as she pleaded guilty on Monday before U. S. District Judge William M. Skretny.
