Look at all the celebs and hangers on and wannabes fawning and making such a fuss about the deceased WH.

A day or two before her death, I don't remember any of them giving two shits about her or the media mentioning her at all.

    Bandwagon, anyone?

They should of had Robert Downey Jr, Charlie Sheen, Lindsey Lohan and OJ Simpson carried the casket! Maybe that would help these dumb asses....

It is. People do stop drinking and/or drugging, sometimes, when things get bad enough. I did.

I'm willing to concede the possibility of NAWALT. I'm just not willing to test the theory by playing Russian Roulette with five rounds in the cylinder.

I hadn't really appreciated what a fine singer Dolly is - not my music. But the words are so clear, and she casually reaches those top notes with no strain whatever. This particular performance, I think, lacks emotion - she does seem to be just singing the song. And she's doing that ornamentation just for the sake of it, which female R&B singers seem to do: up and down the scale just to prove they can. But very fine technically.
Notice how just because she sleeps with a guy, she feels like she is "entitled to some sort of security". Translation: she wants to get paid. ~Kestral

"Cissy is telling family she thinks going there will let her create a spiritual connection with Whitney. She plans to pray in the bathroom where she died to try to hear what she is saying," the friend said.

I'm not a big fan of hers, but she's immensely talented. Looks, singing ability, and a gifted songwriter. She wrote the song "I will always love you" - lyrics and melody. She's the real deal.

Never understood this. You're DEAD! Jewels and fine clothes don't mean a thang now. Even the Pharohs of Egypt couldn't protect themeselves from grave robbers. Why bother?

    Update:

Coroner: Houston drowned after cocaine use

Whitney Houston died from an accidental drowning in a hotel bathtub, but the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use" were contributing factors in her death, the Los Angeles County Coroner said in an autopsy report released Thursday.

Houston, 48, was "found submerged in bathtub filled with water" and "no trauma or foul play is suspected," the coroner said.

The toxicology tests found other drugs in her body, including marijuana, the anti-anxiety drug Xanax, the muscle relaxant Flexeril and the allergy medicine Benadryl, the report said. But these drugs "did not contribute to the death," it said.

The final coroner report is expected to be made public within two weeks, the coroner said.

Houston died February 11 in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, the day before the music industry gathered for the annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
