If he does, (he might) the fun and games, corruption, and systemic raping of the American people might just end. Can't have that, can we?

Very odd that on forums, blogs, you tube etc. one can see huge support for Ron Paul. However, switch over to the media and it's all doom and gloom about the guy, they're scared! I hope he gets elected because real 'change' starts in the US and then makes its away across the oceans!

I don't put too much stock into conspiracy theories as such, but I'll simply say that Ron Paul will never be allowed to attain power. Whether he goes out like JFK (Google Executive Order 11110 if you're in the dark about how dangerous it is to challenge the Federal Reserve) or simply is kept from power through media manipulation or good old fashioned vote fraud, I would be astonished if he were even allowed to become the nominee to say nothing of the actual president.

Then again, as my having been married once attests, I have been wrong before.

It all depends on whether a majority of the sheep "wake up" before the slaughterhouse gates close or to the screams of their brethren inside. Any American who doesn't at least try to stop what is going on should lose all rights to bitch about it later.

Capital gains taxes, which punish you for success (and interfere with your efforts to hedge against inflation by purchasing gold and silver coins), should also be immediately repealed.

Fucking awesome! If the IRS dies then HMRC in the UK will die a few years down the line!

People are doing their homework, researching what Dr. Paul is really all about outside of being force-fed thru TV.

Ron Paul makes me hopeful and depressed at the same time. He's the last ray of liberty in the political class of a dying nation - tempting me to hope at the prospect of his election, yet I can't help but feel that the forces opposing him are insurmountable.

I don't think he'll ever be allowed the presidency. If somehow we had enough people wake up and vote for him, he would probably end up like Kennedy... But he's not alone. Many people have woken up and support the philosophy of liberty. Ron Paul is the only hope remaining for actual leadership at these early stages of collapse. He's America's last hope for leadership. And Ron Paul would support the undoing of the daddygov - including feminist policies. He's got the courage to attempt it, I believe.
