we do the same for retards.
Make'm feel good.
Why is it that women get uber ammounts of encouragement, praise, media attention and government funding when by male standards almost every one of them will become complete utter failures no matter what?

Because women were allowed out of the kitchen and given the vote. It all went downhill from there ;)
At 52% of the population, they now control our society. When a child with little control over their life, desires, little ability to plan for the future and little ability to even see the future beyond minutes has more control than you do over your countries future you are screwed.
Politicians may be males overall (even women don't want to follow women) but they know where there votes come from. Effectively we live in a gynocracy, a democratic matriarchy, where women get the children, the house and a lifelong meal ticket with every divorce, preferential hiring quotas and treatment at work and school, same salaries as males for much less work and earlier retirement.
This is why women were told to stay inside and STFU.
Women control our culture, consumer markets and government today. The result:
- Political correctness is more important than common sense
- Bureaucracy is more important than expedience
- Feelings are more important than fact
- Poorly build designer crap is more important than solidly build to last tools
- Rewarding the group is more important than rewarding the individual
- Special interests groups (defined by race, gender and sexual orientation) are more important than the best man for the job
- Wealth redistribution is more important than earning it
And then people wonder why young men aren't up to much these days... Over the long run, after a few generations, men see the playing field is uneven and a majority will decide it's not worth it to play. This will occur at a level we will no longer be able to ignore within 10 to 20 years and some Western countries are already starting to feel this (Japan's parasite singles and herbivores for example).

Men are too busy making sure the lights stay on. We may not care as much when we realize we do better in the dark anyway.
close your eyes and imagine a world where men were not physically attracted to women. All the free support they get, at least at first, is motivated by sex (later it's "do it for the children" when that dries up). Women have never had anything to offer.
One of the things we must do, if we want to save the West, is go back to limiting who gets to vote.
I'd follow the money, marketers know they do 80% or more of the consumption, the media earns from the publicity and sponsors, politicians know they count for more than half the votes, they control the children so brainwashing the (single) mother spills often onto her indefense offspring, there are whole industries that cater to women's needs only too, men are too busy chasing tail and competing with eachother to stand for their rights etc. Notice children are getting basically the same treatment by the media, putting material desires and unrealistic expectations early on on people's heads. Babylon is going global.
The difference between a democracy and a republic is limiting who gets to vote. In my humble opinion, here are those who should not be able to vote:
- Men under 30
- Anybody who works for the government, ever. You get a job working for the government for a duration of more than one year (cumulative) you forfeit your right to vote. Special dispensation for those who are in the military
- People who live on welfare (not who have collected unemployment)
- If you have collected unemployment from the government for one year or more, you forfeit your right to vote for 5 years the day after your last unemployment check
- People who don't pay taxes (who don't have jobs, or who work under the radar, like illegals)
- People who don't own at least one piece of property (own, not mortgage)
Several of these points assume that the country in question has a good economy with options.
I watched kids and the consumer culture. As a kid I watched a lot of TV but don't remember being very influenced by commercials. I bought power rangers, street sharks and action man toys, but that was when I went browsing in Toys R' Us, which happened every once in a while. I never had a particular toy in mind when I went in.
Then again, I'm not much of a consumer today. I almost never impulse buy. Most of my consumption is limited to video games and I always get reviews and get them half-price. But I'm also different. I'm willing to bet there aren't many shopaholics on this board.
If you are a guy, and you want to limit your exposure to marketing, start by getting rid of your TV. Second, I love how the documentary briefly talked about boys and violent video-games, forgetting that very few video games ever advertise on TV. Most video game consumers go online, look up reviews, or talk about the game with friends.
Video game advertising, beyond IGN letting me know when the game is coming out, is useless in making me decide whether or not to buy a game. Example: I cancelled my pre-order of Duke Nukem Forever yesterday after reading a flood of negative reviews about the demo.
Oh, I forgot. If you don't have kids, you don't have to worry about corporations enslaving their minds.

I'd say only property owning family patriachs, or which ever man he assigns to replace him. Which means most men wouldn't get vote, and I wouldn't have been able to until recently.
The only people who should have political franchise are those with Master's degrees or higher from fully accredited universities. If you can't think your way through a thesis paper, I don't want you having any say whatsoever over my foreign and domestic policy.
People with degrees like that don't pay the price when jobs are sent overseas or when enviromentalims shuts down factories etc etc etc
they are among the people I lest want vote; unless they run their own family and own their own business and land.

I respect hard working construction workers more than a professor in liberal arts. They have a lot more real life experience too and thats what really counts, not a stupid title.
